This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of completing your rental application using the LandLord Application Portal. 


Follow each step carefully to ensure your application is accurate, complete, and processed without delays.

Create an account

Access https://landlord.net/apps/. Enter your name, a valid email address and a password of your choice

Activate

You’ll be prompted with an Awaiting Activation Message. Now it’s time to check your email.

Check your email for the Activation Email. You can always check your spam folder for emails coming from [email protected].

Click on the link to activate your account.

Confirm your information, select your user type (Applicant or Guarantor), and click Activate.


Note: Realtors cannot apply on behalf of their clients. Each applicant must complete and submit their own application.

Set up the Verification Code

For security purposes, you’ll need to complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Sign In

Log into your LandLord Rental Application Portal account using your registered email and password.

Enter the Verification Code

Enter the code sent to your phone or email. If using an Authenticator app, open it to retrieve and enter the code.

Starting Your Application

Enter basic details about the property you’re applying for.

You’ll find all property details on our website under the Listings Page.

Please read carefully before you start your application.

Entering Property Information

Enter the property address, your preferred move-in date, and the monthly rent (as shown in the advertised listing—refer to the screenshot of our Listings Page).

Entering Applicant Information 

Fill in your name, contact details, and date of birth.

Providing Employment & Income Details 

Select your current employment status.

Providing Employment & Income Details 

If employed, enter employer details, job title, and income.

If not employed, you can add a guarantor.

Add Other Tenants and Occupants 

You can add any additional tenants or dependents.

Adding Residential History 

Enter your current and previous addresses, landlord contact information, and reason for moving.

Select your previous/current rent payment method, such as e-transfer, direct deposit, check, or cash.

Save and Continue

Add Pets & Vehicles 

Enter details about any pets and vehicles you plan to have at the property.


Note: If you have a pet and are experiencing a glitch on this step, please select in this step "No Pets" and then add your pet details at the end in the
Notes section.

Conditions 

Specify any requests or requirements before moving in, such as painting, repairs, or cleaning. If you have no conditions, enter "None".

Notes & Disclaimers 

Add relevant notes, confirm if you smoke, and if you’ve seen the unit.

Working with an Agent 

Select whether you're working with LandLord or another real estate agent.

Supporting Documents Upload 

Upload Credit Report, Photo ID, and Proof of Income as clear, legible files.

A green checkmark will appear next to successfully uploaded documents. Resubmit any missing files.

Review & Submit 

Check all details, sign the application, and click Submit.

Application Submitted

A confirmation message will appear once your application is submitted.

Check Application Status

View your application status in the portal for updates.

Confirmation Email 

You'll receive an email with your application summary.

A: If your rental application is not approved, all your submitted data, including personal details and uploaded documents, will be erased from our system. This ensures your privacy and security, in compliance with data protection policies.
