Follow each step carefully to ensure your application is accurate, complete, and processed without delays.

Follow the steps below to complete your application

Enter your account details
Fill in your full name, email address, and create a password for your account.

Once you submit your details, you’ll see a confirmation message letting you know your account was created successfully.

Activate your account by email
Check your inbox for the activation email from apps@landlord.net. Open the email and tap the activation link to complete your registration.
If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder. The link stays active for 24 hours.

Confirm your details and choose your role
Review your information and select the correct role to continue.
If you are applying for the unit, choose Applicant. If you are guaranteeing the lease, choose Guarantor.


Choose how you want to receive your verification code
Select your preferred verification method, such as an authentication app, SMS, or phone call, and complete the setup steps shown on screen.

Start a new application
Enter the basic property details for the unit you want to apply for, then tap Start Application.

You can find the property address, rent amount, and listing details on the LandLord listings page before starting your application.

Review before you begin
Before starting, review the instructions and make sure you have all required information and documents ready. This helps you complete the application faster and avoid delays.

Enter the property information
Add the property address, your preferred move-in date, and the monthly rent amount you are offering.

Enter your personal information
Fill in your full name, date of birth, phone number, email address, and any other requested contact details.

Select your employment status
Choose whether you are currently employed or not employed. This determines what information you’ll be asked to provide next.

Add your employment and income details
If you are employed, enter your employer information, job title, income, length of employment, supervisor contact details, etc.

Not employed? Add a guarantor if needed
If you are not currently employed, the application allows you to proceed and include a guarantor if required in the next step.

If someone else will be included in the application, you can add them here. This may be another tenant, a guarantor, or a dependent.

If you selected Guarantor, enter their email address and relationship to you.

Add other tenants or occupants
You can also add any additional tenants or occupants who will be living in the unit.

Start your residential history
Add your current and previous addresses covering the past 2 years by selecting “Add a Residence” for each one.

Enter your address details
Provide your full address, how long you’ve lived there, your monthly rent, and your landlord’s information.

Choose how you paid your rent for each address, such as direct deposit, e-transfer, cash, or another available option.

Choose whether to continue or add another address
After saving, you can either move on to the next section or add more residential history if needed.

Add pet information
If you have pets, tap Add Pet and enter the details. If you do not have pets, select No Pets.

If you have a vehicle, tap Add Vehicle. If not, select No Vehicle.

Add any move-in conditions
Enter any conditions or requests related to the unit before move-in, such as painting, repairs, or cleaning. If you have no conditions, enter None.

Complete notes and disclaimers
Add any additional notes relevant to your application, confirm whether you smoke, and indicate whether you have seen the unit in person.

Indicate whether you are working with an agent
Select whether you are working directly with LandLord or with another real estate agent.


Upload your required documents
You will need to upload your credit report, photo ID, and proof of income. Make sure all files are clear and easy to read.

Confirm all required documents are uploaded
Once all required items show as completed, continue to the review section.

Review your application
Go through the full application summary carefully to make sure your details are accurate before submitting.
If you need to make any changes, tap the Edit button next to that section to update your information.

Please read the terms and acknowledgements carefully before signing.

A final confirmation prompt will appear. Review the note and tap
Submit Application to proceed.

Application submitted successfully
You will see a confirmation message once your application has been submitted.

Track your application status
You can return to the portal at any time to view updates on your application status.

Check your confirmation email
You will also receive a confirmation email with a summary of your application.
If another adult is applying with you, they must submit their own application as well or your file will remain incomplete.
