How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Using an Authenticator App
Follow these steps to enable 2FA using an authenticator app.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection to your account by requiring a time-based verification code in addition to your password. We recommend using an Authenticator App for the most secure experience.

When prompted to enable Two-Factor Authentication:
- Select “Authenticator App” (recommended).
- Click Generate QR Code.
You can use either of the following free apps available on the App Store or Google Play:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
In your chosen authenticator app:
- Tap Add Code or Add Account.
- Choose Scan a QR Code (or “Scan QR Code”).
- Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code displayed on your LandLord 2FA setup screen.
💡 If you can’t scan the code, choose Enter a setup key manually and type in the key shown on the screen.
Once scanned, your app will start displaying a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app into the verification field on the LandLord page.
- Click Complete Setup.
